The First 3 Weeks!

i don't like to say the word 'diet' because it's kind of a dirty word to me.
i feel like the true meaning has been changed to mean something temporary and something people can cheat on and break. i feel like it's kind of a negative word.
so i'm not going to say i've done great on my diet.
the last few weeks i've been eating clean and healthy.
i had a few pieces of easter candy 2 weeks before easter and (i can't remember exactly what and when) i'm sure i've had carbs of some sort, but for 90% of the time this is all i've had:

greek yogurt (not a lot...just a little)
carrots
cherry tomatoes
cubed cheese
almonds
apples
watermelon
cantaloupe
tuna
chicken

i was worried i'd be STARVING, but i'm not! i feel great! and working out has become something i look forward to!


this morning while i was getting dressed to go work out, i walked in front of the mirror and saw a difference. it made me want to check the scale!

when i stepped onto the scale, i saw a number that i haven't seen in a long time.
i stepped off, and back on again a few times to check and make sure it wasn't an error!
it wasn't!

i was so happy i started giggling to myself lol
definitely more pumped to get up and do more!

i take my measurements again on may 5th, and i'll compare them to the measurements from april 5th.

i may or may not share the results......(;
